We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and well organized to help us promote an efficient, competent, and productive clinical department. There is plenty of growth in this role, due to the fact that you will learn information and become conversant on all procedures to further assist patient needs. As a receptionist, you will welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.

Candidate will be working with pain management physician for office based injections under fluoroscopic guidance. Candidate will be operating the C-arm, saving images, and uploading patient data. Brand new, state of the art, C-arms will be used. Pain procedures include epidural steroid injections, facet injections, plus more. Daily case load varies between 15-30 procedures per day. Knowledge and experience preferred but onsite training is available. BLS certification required.

Candidate must be proficient in IV skills; starting IV fluids. Candidate will be performing general preoperative and postoperative assessments of patients prior to minor pain injections. Pre/post-operative assessments including conducting a general history of the patient, obtaining vital signs, starting/removing IV’s, and giving home instructions to patients. Injections are performed under conscious sedations so airway knowledge is preferred. Injections are usually 5-30 seconds in duration so sedation is minimal. BLS required. Prior experience preferred, but on the job training is available.

We are seeking Medical Assistants who have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and communication skills, and who is familiar with medical billing procedures to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

We are seeking a License Vocational Nurse Circulator O.R. to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients by serving as the patient advocate to oversee the care and needs of the patient before and during their procedures.

We are seeking a CRNA to work in our new pain management office based surgery center. As CRNA, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care, managing and monitoring a patient’s pain levels and vital functions during an office based procedure.

This candidate will prepare patients, procedure rooms and equipment for outpatient pain management procedures and assist during those procedures as part of a team of professionals.

We are seeking an LVN with O.R. experience in a surgical room (minimum 2 years). The LVN will serve as the procedure advocate to oversee the care and needs of the patient and managing the activities in the procedure room. Responsibilities include ensuring the procedure room is sterile and safe for the patient, prepares the patient for the procedure and handles the preparation for the room before the scheduled procedure time, ensures that the sterile field is not compromised, during the procedure, and keeps the area clean and organized for the physician.

Appointments

Please call the office to make an appointment in advance. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call us as far in advance as possible so we may use that time to see another patient in need of care. We make a sincere effort to adhere to our appointment schedule and appreciate your patience if we are late due to emergencies or hospital surgery.

Prescriptions & Renewals

Please request all prescriptions and authorizations for renewals between 9:00am and 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, when our full records are available. Renewals requested at other times will be filled only for extreme or emergent circumstances.

Medical and Biling Records Requests via ChartSwap

ChartSwap

As of March 2, 2020 Quantum Pain and Orthopedic has contracted ChartSwap to process requests for the release of medical records (protected health information) and billing records.

All patient health care information at Quantum Pain and Orthopedic is confidential. Therefore, medical records cannot be released to any person or organization without the consent of the patient or the patient’s legally authorized representative (unless authorized by law).

Written Authorization

Requests for the release of medical records (protected health information) must be submitted in writing and must contain all the elements required by law. Authorizations must also be dated and signed by the patient or the patient’s legally authorized representative. In the case of a minor, a parent or legal guardian must sign the authorization.

Quantum Pain and Orthopedic has authorized forms that can be downloaded.

Processing Fees

A current fee schedule for disclosure of health care information is available on the ChartSwap link.

No fee is assessed when the information is being sent to another health care provider or is for a social security disability claim. Requests for medical record information for social security disability claims must be accompanied by a supporting letter from the Social Security Administration.

Patients and Patient representatives will not incur a fee other than the fee associated with ChartSwap. All others will be invoiced thru ChartSwap.
